About the Position
We are expanding our Global Shared Service Payroll Accounting group and need a Senior Payroll Accountant to help keep payroll financials accurate across jurisdictions. You will handle payroll accounting and reconciliations, support audits, and work with multiple teams to resolve exceptions and improve processes. Responsibilities
- Deliver payroll accounting for selected EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm and perform US GAAP bookkeeping for payroll-related activities, including payroll reflection and accruals.
- Reconcile and analyze payroll across internal systems to ensure consistent, accurate outputs.
- Examine complex payroll scenarios and provide resolutions within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to support payroll-related activities and dependencies.
- Address audit requests and attend regular meetings with external and internal auditors.
- Run payroll-related workstreams for local audits.
- Drive process improvement efforts with other teams by assessing opportunities and testing enhancements.
- Compile ad-hoc reports upon request.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance or Accounting at the Bachelor's or Master's level.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent MS Office skills, with deep Excel proficiency.
- Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP considered an advantage.
- Background in company acquisitions, considered an advantage.
- High sense of responsibility and strong attention to detail, able to control and process information from multiple sources.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English (B1+ level or higher).
