WE ARE META is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Porto. This role offers a hybrid work model, providing a perfect blend of remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide platform standards and CI/CD frameworks.
• Define and govern best practices and reference architectures for multiple product and development teams.
• Operate Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native application environments.
• Build and manage Internal Developer Platforms using tools like Backstage and Crossplane.
• Ensure DevSecOps practices are implemented, including vulnerability management and secrets management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS and GitLab in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in version control, configuration management, and deployment automation using Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Fluency in English (B2 Level).
• Availability for hybrid model, 3x/week, based in Porto.
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
