We are looking for a Senior Power BI and Microsoft Fabric Specialist with a strong background in AI-enabled development to support the BI Center of Excellence in addressing complex analytics challenges and driving innovation.

Salary: 25-27 USD/per hour

Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Contract Type: B2B (until the end of 2026, extension possible)

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical challenges within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric across enterprise-scale environments.
• Identify and resolve integration challenges across platforms, including Fabric, Azure, Databricks, SAP, and other enterprise source systems.
• Support complex multi-market rollout scenarios and global deployments.
• Use Microsoft Copilot, GenAI assistants, prompt libraries, code generation frameworks, and automation scripts to accelerate and optimize the development of dashboards and semantic models.
• Develop reusable AI-supported assets for DAX generation and optimization, semantic model documentation, test case creation, data quality rule definition, lineage documentation, dashboard design guidance, and migration code transformation.
• Define and track measurable improvements in development time, debugging effort, and POC delivery timelines.
• Assess new Microsoft roadmap features and evaluate their relevance and applicability for enterprise environments.
• Develop rapid prototypes and technical Proofs of Concept to validate emerging Fabric capabilities.
• Explore and test advanced Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including Direct Lake, OneLake shortcuts, real-time analytics, Data Activator, Copilot-supported BI development, and AI-driven dashboard automation.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade semantic models to support high-scale reporting requirements.
• Improve dashboard performance, optimize refresh SLAs, and ensure scalable workspace operations.
• Create reusable technical assets to accelerate CoE delivery, including semantic model templates, deployment pipelines, CI/CD automation scripts, Fabric monitoring dashboards, Power BI governance scripts, performance diagnostic toolkits, AI prompt libraries for BI engineering, and code generation templates.

Requirements

• 5/6+ years of experience in Power BI development and architecture.
• Proven expertise in implementing and scaling solutions within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, including prompt engineering for BI use cases, code generation workflows, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled documentation and testing.
• Hands-On experience leveraging AI and Generative AI to enhance BI and analytics engineering workflows.
• Proven experience integrating Microsoft Fabric with Azure, Databricks, SAP BW/S4, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience delivering architecture-level POCs and contributing to innovation initiatives.
• Experience in advanced DAX optimization, Direct Lake architecture, semantic modeling, workspace governance, capacity optimization, and deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
