Senior Product Designer – Design Systems

About the Position

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer – Design Systems to join our global software company in Dublin, focusing on creating a Figma component library and supporting assets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, internal and external subject matter experts, and users to understand the requirements for and ultimately the delivery of a Figma component library and supporting assets.
• Partner with front-end engineers to develop a coded component library, ensuring 1-to-1 parity with designs.
• Work with the Accessibility Initiative to ensure the Design System meets AA Standards.
• Contribute to the visual and interaction craft of the Design System.
• Communicate with stakeholders to manage the scope of new components and assets.
• Be responsible for the planning and execution of UX efforts aligned with product development cycles.
• Collaborate and contribute to user research activities.
• Translate user research findings into insights and design improvements.
• Support product teams in the adoption of the Design System.

Requirements

• Experience working with design systems supporting product ecosystems.
• A professional portfolio displaying skills, with particular emphasis on problem-solving.
• Experience in designing enterprise software products for different platforms in a B2B environment.
• Experience in UX/product or service design field and an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in general UX design competences (research, interaction design, visual design).
• Skills for interpreting detailed software engineering concepts and designing within known limitations.
• Good presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Advanced Figma knowledge and skillset.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the infrastructure field.
• Prior exposure to 3D/CAD.
• Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or related field.
