Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Leader in Netcompany, you will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Contracting Authority, developing realistic project plans aligned with project objectives and the organisation’s overall strategy
  • Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery and execution of the assigned contract, ensuring compliance with agreed scope, quality, timelines and contractual requirements
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, allocating resources, reviewing deliverables, supporting team development and ensuring effective day-to-day project execution
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets and resource requirements, and monitor progress against agreed plans and tolerances
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of software systems, including interoperability components, in line with user and business requirements
  • Establish and maintain project, quality and security plans, ensuring compliance with applicable methodologies, ITSM processes and Contracting Authority procedures
  • Manage project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication, including progress reporting to the Contracting Authority and coordination with eu-LISA programme/project management teams and working groups
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, resources and risks, proactively addressing deviations, capacity constraints and delivery issues
  • Manage change control and ensure appropriate training, knowledge transfer and continuous adherence to contractual, quality and security requirements

Requirements

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as Project or Programme Manager
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile methodology and team collaboration tools
  • Strong experience with consultative Project management in the IT software development and quality related areas
  • Excellent knowledge of business process management, enterprise architecture and project management tools, standards and methodologies, especially Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
  • Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
  • Excellent leadership qualities and ability to chair meetings and to give presentations
  • Experience with other project management methodology (e.g. PM2, PRINCE2, PMP) will be considered as an asset
