Senior Project Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to coordinate the end-to-end software delivery process across Product, Development, QA, DevOps, Delivery, and external stakeholders. The role focuses on translating roadmap priorities into predictable execution by ensuring proper planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and release coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage initiatives from planning through production release, including Epics, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• Align roadmap priorities with team capacity and delivery commitments.
• Drive backlog refinement and sprint planning, ensuring work is prioritized, estimated, and ready for development.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams, products, versions, integrations, and configurations.
• Build and maintain release plans and ensure continuous release readiness.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify blockers, and provide clear status reporting.
• Coordinate Development, QA, and DevOps throughout execution and release preparation.
• Manage WBS allocation, team capacity, and resource conflicts.
• Track project budgets, actuals vs. plan, forecasts, and cost-related risks.
• Maintain visibility of schedule, technical, delivery, dependency, and budget risks, escalating critical issues early.

Operating Cadence

• Daily: Stand-ups, progress tracking, and blocker resolution.
• Weekly: Backlog refinement, cross-team synchronization, release readiness, capacity, and risk reviews.
• Bi-weekly: Sprint planning, Epic review, and priority alignment.
• Per release: Scope validation, release readiness, version consistency, and stakeholder coordination.
• Monthly: Budget review, variance analysis, and cost forecasting.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience in release planning, version management, and software deployment coordination.
• Ability to manage cross-team and cross-product dependencies across Development, QA, DevOps, Delivery, and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding of software testing, release readiness, database and integration changes, and related technical risks.
• Experience in backlog governance, capacity planning, WBS management, budget tracking, and delivery reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and engineering teams.
• Experience working in complex enterprise software environments.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• PMP or Agile certifications preferred.
