Senior Project Manager

About the Position

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Product team and help to lead the successful delivery of some of our largest and most strategically important digital products. You’ll own projects from discovery through launch and ongoing delivery, ensuring they are delivered commercially, technically, and operationally.

No two projects are the same. One week you could be leading the delivery of a new mobile platform for a leading retailer, the next helping an international client launch a complex digital service used by millions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Leadership

  • Lead multiple digital product deliveries from discovery through launch and live operation.
  • Establish delivery plans that align scope, timelines, budget, and business outcomes.
  • Provide clear leadership across multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects remain predictable, transparent, and focused on delivering measurable value.
  • Create an environment where delivery teams can consistently perform at a high level.
  • Balance client priorities, commercial objectives, and delivery quality when making decisions.
  • Champion the use of AI and modern delivery tools to improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and delivery efficiency.

• Client Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Become the primary delivery partner throughout client engagements.
  • Provide clear communication on progress, risks, opportunities, and commercial impacts.
  • Translate technical complexity into language that enables confident business decisions.
  • Support clients in making informed prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Contribute to long-term client relationships through consistently successful delivery.

• Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Produce accurate estimates and delivery forecasts.
  • Monitor project profitability throughout delivery.
  • Ensure Statements of Work are delivered within agreed commercial parameters.
  • Manage project scope and change requests while protecting both client value and commercial performance.
  • Work closely with leadership to maximize project health, utilisation, and delivery confidence.
  • Understand how project decisions impact the wider client portfolio, ensuring commercial and delivery decisions support long-term client success.

• Delivery Governance

  • Maintain effective governance across risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Ensure projects have clear reporting, appropriate controls, and proactive escalation where required.
  • Manage scope throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining delivery confidence.
  • Ensure project documentation and reporting remain accurate and current.
  • Drive consistent delivery standards across projects.
  • Support governance reviews with internal and client stakeholders.

• Technical Delivery

  • Work closely with Solution Architects and Engineering Leads to create realistic delivery plans.
  • Understand technical risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints sufficiently to support effective planning and governance.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering, design, product, and client teams.
  • Ensure delivery decisions consider quality, scalability, and long-term product success.
  • Champion collaborative problem-solving across technical and non-technical teams.

• Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and team effectiveness.
  • Share knowledge and best practice across Droids On Roids and the wider Apadmi Group.
  • Support and mentor less experienced Project Managers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery standards, tools, and ways of working.
  • Help build a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion excellent project mobilisation by ensuring projects begin with clear governance, delivery plans, stakeholder alignment, and commercial controls.

• People Leadership & Delivery Quality

  • Project Managers and delivery teams can translate client and delivery strategy into coherent priorities, plans, and decisions.
  • Provide effective line management, regular feedback, coaching, and career development for Project Managers.
  • Set clear expectations and support Project Managers in leading complex projects, client relationships, and cross-functional teams.
  • Review delivery quality and intervene effectively where practice falls below expectations.
  • Ensure learning contributes to Droids On Roids’ delivery methods, community, and market differentiation.
  • Contribute AI techniques, delivery frameworks, prompts, and workflows that improve the quality and effectiveness of the Delivery practice.
  • Help Project Managers use AI responsibly while maintaining strong delivery thinking, client understanding, and professional judgement.

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering complex digital projects within a digital agency, consultancy, or software development environment.
• Experience delivering mobile apps, platforms, or other customer-facing digital products is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, with the flexibility to apply traditional delivery approaches where appropriate.
• Experience managing project financials, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and change control.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including senior client engagement.
• Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles.
• Comfortable collaborating with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads, and Product teams.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and modern delivery tools.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken.

Salary

120 - 140 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)
