Join our team!
At AVANTGARDE, we create holistic brand experiences that inspire and leave a lasting impact on people around the world. As a leading brand experience company, we combine creativity, technology, and excellent operational execution.
For our team in Munich, we are looking for an experienced, articulate, and proactive individual who can take our promotional and staffing initiatives to the next level, delight clients, and actively expand our network.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive End-to-End Ownership: From the initial customer inquiry through proposal preparation, cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling to operational implementation, final reporting, and final billing, you will manage your projects comprehensively and independently.
- Integrated Project & Promoter Management: For you, the operational management of promoters isn’t a side issue-it’s at the heart of your project management. You not only plan campaigns strategically but are also directly responsible for the associated staffing, briefings, and on-site quality assurance.
- Pool Development, Management, & Performance: You not only manage existing contacts but also actively build and expand our pool of promoters and hostesses, as well as our network of external service providers and freelancers; you further develop these resources and use KPIs to ensure the teams’ performance and service quality.
- Interface Skills & Operational Management: You serve as the central hub of the project and coordinate close, direct collaboration with our internal and external operational partners-such as logistics, service centers, and other service providers-to ensure smooth implementation at the POS.
- Focus on POS Activation & Field Marketing: You manage complex promotional campaigns-often lasting several days or spanning multiple locations-as well as field marketing initiatives and POS activations, ensuring that the brand message is conveyed perfectly.
- Agile Crisis & Incident Management: During dynamic live phases, you respond flexibly to last-minute changes and logistical challenges on-site and find pragmatic, solution-oriented approaches.
Requirements
- Focus on Professional Experience: You have several years of solid experience in project management-with a clear and demonstrable focus on promotions, field marketing, or POS activation, ideally on the agency or service provider side.
- Expertise in Promoter Management: You have proven experience in actively building, leading, and improving the quality of promoter and hostess pools. You know how to motivate and brief teams and ensure their sustained performance.
- Hands-on Mindset & Cross-Functional Expertise: You have strong organizational skills, think operationally, and have ideally already worked closely with logistics and service units. You don’t wait for instructions but proactively tackle problems.
- Customer Focus & Growth Mindset: You enjoy direct customer contact, build trusting relationships on an equal footing, and ideally have experience in customer development or the organic growth of accounts.
- Proficiency with Tools & Numbers: You’re comfortable using standard MS Office tools (especially Excel for calculations and budget planning) and project management tools-they’re part of your daily toolkit.
- Language Skills: Business-level proficiency in German and good written and spoken English.
We Offer
- Flexible Work Models: We offer flexible models such as home office options, individual hourly arrangements, and job rotation.
- Global Work Opportunities: With us, you have the opportunity to work remotely worldwide for up to three weeks per year.
- Wellness Benefits: A company bike, discounted Body & Soul membership, and numerous discount promotions make it possible to stay active and enjoy leisure time.
- Team and Company Events: Be part of our legendary team and company events. These are all about gathering inspiration, exchanging ideas, and networking.
- Unique Work Environment: Spend your coffee and lunch breaks on Munich's most beautiful rooftop terrace with its own barista and real sheep.
