About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Python Web Developer to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. This role is hybrid, offering flexibility in your work environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate and/or lead full-cycle web application development: from design and concept to production.
- Use your deep understanding of web technologies and APIs to advise on the system's architecture.
- Present technical solutions to product owners and be ready to argue them.
- Push code in production, improve deployment processes, and monitoring processes.
- Analyze, rethink, and refactor the code to scale the application.
Requirements
- Experience developing and designing modern web applications in Python for at least 2+ years.
- Hands-on experience with one of the modern web frameworks (FastAPI, Sanic, Falcon, Flask, Django/DRF, Aiohttp, or any other).
- Good understanding and experience of working with one of the relational or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and others).
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks.
- Python programming language knowledge with an understanding of internal mechanics (interpreter, memory management).
- Practical web development experience with any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Understanding of the best practices of modern software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Communicate in English efficiently (reading, writing, speaking) (B1+).
Nice to Have
- Experience with scraping frameworks.
- Experience with ETL Data Pipelines.
- Docker experience.
- Knowledge of microservices or service-oriented architecture. General understanding of the architecture of distributed systems.
- Agile development methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
- CI/CD setup for a new Python project.
- Experience with writing asynchronous code.
