Senior QA Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is full-time and offers a hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive member of a Scrum development team, working closely with PDM, BA, Designers, Developers, and other QAs.
• Perform manual testing, run and understand automated tests.
• Plan and execute work that includes interdependent tasks for the projects (testing of requirements, specifications and designs, test case/plan creation, bug reporting).
• Assess product usability and reliability and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
• Be ready to learn, develop skills and knowledge, as well as share it.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software and functional testing.
• 2+ years of experience in API testing.
• Experience with web testing.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.
• Ability to work with Charles or Fiddler.
• Ability to work with Databases (simple SELECT queries).
• Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance.
• Good level of English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to details.
• Willingness to ask for help from colleagues and to help others.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kibana, Grafana, Kafka, IDEA.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of JavaScript basics, CSS, XPath.
