About the Position

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the development of a back-end solution for payment-card-based traveling. The Client develops ticketing and payment systems for public transport and parking. This assignment requires the ability to travel to Sweden/Finland.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a back-end solution for payment-card-based traveling
  • Receive webhooks from PSP for performed taps
  • Store taps done per card – with potential use of actor model with Akka.NET, Orleans, or similar
  • Interact with a ticketing system to get prices and issue tickets
  • Join the known taps into charges and send them to PSP for capture
  • Integrate the “login with payment card” functionality
  • Work on the development of a web portal for users to show their details and set their preferred ticket types
  • Develop a service to hold customer settings/configuration stored per payment card token
  • Receive receipt issue requests
  • Create receipts
  • Send receipts via e-mail

Requirements

  • Ability to travel to Sweden/Finland
  • Knowledge of C#
  • Proficiency in.NET (version 9, 10, or 11)
  • Ability to work with Rest APIs
  • Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript
  • Skills with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases
  • Ability to leverage Kubernetes and Container technology
  • Familiarity with Akka.NET or Orleans (the latter is preferred)
  • Ability to understand and practice secure development
  • Ability to take high responsibility for the output needed by proactively planning and ensuring delivery of the full value
  • English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher
