About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Microsoft SharePoint) for our office in Singapore. You will own and enhance enterprise SharePoint solutions and .NET applications, translating requirements into secure, maintainable implementations. You’ll guide technical decisions, partner with analysts, engineers, and vendors, support CI/CD and deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and apply AI-assisted development and automation to improve delivery speed and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical custodian for existing SharePoint and.NET applications, documenting architecture and key decisions
  • Design, develop, and enhance solutions using Agile or Waterfall delivery practices
  • Investigate and resolve issues using scripts, logs, and SQL queries
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Quality Engineers to refine user stories, deliver fixes, and improve test coverage
  • Convert acceptance criteria into automated unit and integration tests using TDD and BDD practices
  • Support continuous integration and release automation with DevOps and deployment teams
  • Provide delivery estimates during sprint planning and help manage scope and dependencies
  • Support production operations including after-hours duty rotation as required

Requirements

  • Relevant senior-level experience, ideally 9 years or more in software development roles
  • Strong proficiency in.NET and Microsoft SharePoint including enterprise-grade application development
  • Hands-on experience applying test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) in day-to-day delivery
  • Experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and functional levels
  • Ability to troubleshoot across application and system layers using structured root-cause analysis
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver incremental value
  • Vendor coordination experience to integrate third-party solutions and manage technical dependencies
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and build or release automation practices
  • Exposure to Document Management Systems in regulated or high-governance environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SharePoint migrations at enterprise scale
  • Experience with SSIS, web development, or related Microsoft data tooling
  • Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to support reviews, refactoring, and documentation
