Senior Staff Software Engineer-Voice AI Agent Prompting

Join ServiceNow as a Senior Staff Software Engineer-Voice AI Agent Prompting to design, build, and operate voice AI agents for conversational and agentic experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, ship, and operate voice AI agents whose core behavior is model-driven rather than explicitly authored.
• Shape ambiguous call flows and telephony requirements into precise specifications.
• Author the instructions and prompts that govern voice agent behavior.
• Prove through automated evaluation that the result behaves correctly on real calls.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years of experience in deploying contemporary AI solutions at customers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

We Offer

• Base pay of $190,900 - $334,100, plus equity, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
