About the Position
We are seeking a highly autonomous and hands-on Senior System & Information Security Administrator to take full ownership of the company’s global IT infrastructure and security environment. This is a standalone IT role, responsible for all aspects of the organization’s IT operations, infrastructure, security, and end-user support, while coordinating external IT providers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain servers (On-prem/Azure), Active Directory (Entra ID), user accounts, and monitoring systems.
- IT Infrastructure & Storage: Maintain networks, hardware, and storage systems to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support to end users and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Information Security: Maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, and access control; enforce security policies to ensure system integrity.
- Backup & Database Maintenance: Manage backup processes, disaster recovery (DR), and routine Microsoft SQL Server maintenance.
- Vendor Coordination: Professionally manage external IT and security vendors when required.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator – mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux Server, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) administration.
- Experience with virtualization, primarily Proxmox.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- High level of English proficiency.
