Senior Technical SEO/GEO Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Technical SEO/GEO Specialist to optimize our company website and digital assets, ensuring they are easily discoverable by search engines and provide a seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and content creators, to implement technical SEO best practices and drive organic traffic growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits of the website to identify areas for improvement in site structure, crawling, and indexing
• Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO recommendations during replatforming and website updates, ensuring compliance with technical SEO guidelines
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools, analyze data, and generate reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization
• Track search engine algorithms, industry trends, and best practices to ensure the website remains optimized and competitive
• Implement structured data markup and other technical SEO enhancements to improve search engine visibility
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on SEO best practices and ensure the adoption of technical SEO guidelines

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Tech SEO Specialist or similar role, with a focus on website optimization and organic traffic growth
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field
• Knowledge of search engine algorithms, website analytics, and SEO tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush
• High proficiency in Google Search Console
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website development principles
• Proficiency in using website auditing tools to identify technical issues and opportunities for improvement
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues
• Understanding of website architecture, internal linking, and crawling principles
• Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices, industry trends, and algorithm updates
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey SEO recommendations in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in English at a С1 level
