About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer (JavaScript) who can design, maintain, and expand test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality UI and API test scenarios using the BDD approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks tailored to project requirements
- Build robust integration test packages to ensure seamless functionality
- Identify test coverage gaps and introduce new scenarios based on evolving project needs
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams to meet deadlines and achieve expected quality
- Propose innovative ideas for improving test and code designs
- Create clear and comprehensive test documentation to support project deliverables
- Optimize automated test cases for both functional and non-functional requirements
- Oversee test suite creation, including test cases and defect management
- Coordinate and ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines and processes
- Advocate best practices for both manual and automated testing methodologies
- Monitor and report on test progress, highlighting risks and priorities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation engineering roles
- Proficiency in automation in JavaScript, particularly in ReactJS, and advanced usage of Playwright
- Competency with Azure DevOps and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Background in manual testing methodologies paired with familiarity in CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of tools for non-functional testing such as Snyk and SonarCloud
- Showcase of strong communication, documentation, and proposal abilities
- Understanding of Agile processes, specifically Scrum methodology
- English proficiency at a B2 level for effective collaboration
Nice to Have
- Expertise in managing data pipelines on cloud platforms
- Familiarity with additional automated testing tools beyond Playwright
- Flexibility to work with non-functional testing frameworks
