About the Position
Senior TypeScript Developer, Remote
The project is a streaming IP TV platform (OTT media service), which includes premium cinema solutions, gaming systems, home theaters, and mobile devices.
Responsibilities
- Build high-performance engines for Smart TV applications.
- Develop solutions to address complex problems, particularly in advanced OTT video streaming.
- Contribute to a future-ready, high-quality, and performance code base.
- Bring technical solutions and product ideas to the leadership team through design review and code review.
- Work closely with the team (daily standups).
Requirements
- JavaScript and TypeScript development and testing skills.
- Experienced in at least one JavaScript unit testing framework (e.g., Jest).
- Experienced in advanced web development (e.g., multi-threading, asynchronous requests, implementation/code/lib protection).
- Experienced in media streaming.
- Ability to port reference code from Android or Swift to preferably TypeScript.
- Experienced in developing JS/TypeScript code for Smart TV platforms like Samsung and LG.
- Experienced in maintaining and extending existing TypeScript code base.
- English - Intermediate+ (both written and verbal).
