Senior Vicepresident - Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia

At ING, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Vicepresident - Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia with a strong background in Payment and Cash management to join our Transaction Services (TS) Team of Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal.

Responsibilities

As a Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia, you will be responsible for:

• Origination and Business Development:

  • Generating new TS share of wallet deals with existing and new clients across different sectors.
  • Delivering on challenging revenue targets and client profitability within the ING risk framework.
  • Collaborating with the Local head of Transaction Services to define the business strategy and commercial plan for Cash solutions in Iberia.
  • Working with Local product management to establish priorities for new product developments or enhancements.

• Transaction Execution:

  • Managing and advising on sizeable and complex cash mandates.
  • Negotiating TS solutions and pricing agreements with clients.
  • Coordinating and supporting the structuring and execution of Cash mandates with colleagues from the TS Cash Advisory & Structuring Central team in Amsterdam.
  • Monitoring implementations to ensure proper delivery of solutions according to agreements.

• Customer Relationship Management:

  • Improving and maximizing the cross-buy of TS Solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients.
  • Collaborating with key internal colleagues/stakeholders.
  • Reviewing the operations of existing clients to maintain contracts and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Performing client profitability analysis to assess business trends.

• Risk & Portfolio Management:

  • Monitoring the existing portfolio in close consultation with risk management.
  • Operating under our KYC guidelines.

• Knowledge Management:

  • Contributing to the innovation and development of new solutions to enhance ING's PCM product catalog.
  • Attending (client) events to position the ING TS value proposition and stay informed on key trends.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry and TS products to the highest professional levels, with a focus on Cash products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working with Iberian clients in originating, negotiating, and implementing Cash Management solutions.
• In-depth technical knowledge of the PCM and Liquidity product catalog, including Payments, Collections, Channels, Cash & Liquidity solutions/Cash pooling.
• Knowledge of Trade products (Bank guarantees, Receivables, and Supply Chain Finance) will be highly valued.
• Excellent commercial skills and ability to excel in originating TS opportunities.
