About the Position
We're seeking a Senior Video Conferencing Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen or remotely within Europe, specializing in real-time media and conferencing quality. At Airtame, we build both the hardware and software for video conferencing, ensuring the conferencing runs smoothly on the devices in meeting rooms.
Responsibilities
In your first year, you'll:
- Put the telemetry in: Build instrumentation to track latency, quality, and resource use on the device.
- Move the metrics: Improve audio and video quality, lower latency, and reduce device load.
- Take on the problems that need a specialist: Own the diagnosis and fix of complex conferencing issues.
- Raise the team's game: Share your expertise to improve the team's understanding of real-time media and prevent costly mistakes.
Requirements
- You've lived in real-time media: Years of experience with WebRTC, codecs, media servers, and understanding network challenges.
- You reach for data: Measure and analyze before theorizing when something's off.
- You lift the people around you: Provide guidance and steer designs without needing a manager's title.

- Location: Remote in Europe, or hybrid from our Copenhagen office.
