Tech Lead, Video Conferencing & Screen Sharing

About the Position

We are seeking a Tech Lead for Video Conferencing & Screen Sharing to join our team in Copenhagen or remotely within Europe. This role focuses on seamless integration and enhancing user experience across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Run the 1:1s, set the technical bar, and support team members' growth.
• Integration: Get software to play nicely with platforms you don't own: Teams, Zoom, Meet, Webex, etc.
• AI-Assisted Development: Lead the next step in AI practices to make the team faster and more efficient.
• User Experience: Optimize for the end-user experience, ensuring a smooth and effortless experience for users.

Requirements

• Player-Coach: Experience in owning a team's technical direction and growing engineers.
• Comfort Across the Stack: Real-time media expertise, including WebRTC, streaming, and cross-platform client development.
• Integration Skills: Proven experience in integrating stubborn systems and platforms.
• AI Proficiency: Daily use of AI as a tool for coding, debugging, and prototyping.

Nice to Have

• Leadership Experience: Previous experience as a staff engineer or tech lead ready to own a team.
• AI-Assisted Development: Experience in pushing AI-assisted development further within a team.

About the Company

We're around 55 people, headquartered in Copenhagen, and you'd work from there or remotely within the EU. We make the hardware and the software that runs on it, so a call you make about the streaming stack ends up in a product bolted to a wall in meeting rooms around the world. The team is small, works across disciplines, and reaches a global market from a small base.
