Senior/Lead SAP FI-CA (BRIM) Consultant

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior/Lead SAP FI-CA (BRIM) Consultant to play a pivotal role in a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation project for our fashion retail client.

In this position, you’ll lead the design and configuration of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) and Convergent Invoicing (CI) modules, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and other SAP systems. Leveraging your expertise in Order-to-Cash workflows and industry best practices, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline billing, payment processing, and financial reporting. With a customer-focused mindset and deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, you’ll drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation within a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of the CI and FICA modules within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices for fashion retail
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to customer interaction, billing, and financial accounting processes
• Map current Order-to-Cash processes and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring efficient workflows in the new SAP S/4HANA environment
• Configure the CI and FICA modules, including customer master data, billing processes, payment processing, and dunning procedures, to support business needs
• Work closely with sales, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of CI and FICA with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM)
• Develop and execute test plans to validate configurations, ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions and financial reporting
• Provide training and support to end-users on CI and FICA processes and SAP S/4HANA functionalities, facilitating a smooth transition to the new system
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure that the SAP S/4HANA system complies with all applicable standards and practices
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of CI and FICA processes, configurations, and user guides

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP CI and FICA consulting, with a focus on Order-to-Cash processes in the retail sector
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the CI and FICA modules
• Knowledge of integration points between CI, FICA, and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM)
• Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools for customer and financial data
• Familiarity with the fashion retail industry, including customer engagement strategies and financial accounting practices will be a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and apply it to business processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in managing projects, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget
