About the Position
Astec IT Services, a company providing consulting, custom software development, and cloud services since 1993, is looking for a Senior.NET C# Developer (Azure) to join our team. We have helped market leaders in the automotive, energy, and telecom sectors unlock their potential through digital innovation. We are seeking a long-term employee or contractor to support ongoing development efforts in an exciting project.
Development of Enterprise Web Application Frameworks
Join Astec’s Web Development practice to help an automotive client improve efficiency by developing web application frameworks in the Azure stack.
Responsibilities
As a Senior.NET C# Developer on the Web Development team at Astec, you will help develop web application frameworks that support our client, a leading automobile manufacturer from Germany, in their daily operations:
- Development of software frameworks using.NET, C#, and Azure solutions like App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault
- Software development according to client requirements, based on user stories, using agile project management methodologies
- Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
- Design, implement, and execute development and integration tests
Skills You Have
- Experience with.NET C# software development
- Knowledge about software architecture
- Ability to confidently communicate with peers
- Good knowledge of the English language (level B2 or better)
Requirements
- At least five years of commercial software development experience
- Experience in development of service-oriented systems (SOA, REST Services, WebAPI, WCF)
- Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, ADFS
- Completed higher education in computer science
- Work permit in Poland or Germany
- Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in developing Azure-based software solutions
- Knowledge of Azure solutions like App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage, SQL
- Experience in unit testing, test design, and test automation
- Knowledge of web application security
- Knowledge of German language (level B2 or better)
