About the Position
We are seeking a Senior.Net Developer to join our Canadian company's remote team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining quality software. You will work alongside a passionate and dedicated team of developers. The position is full-time and remote.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and testing projects from start to finish;
- Committing code using best practices and adhering to project workflows;
- Applying security best practices in all technical decisions;
- Tracking and providing status updates on issues in GitLab;
- Attending team meetings, and communicating with internal staff via Slack, email, and virtual meetings - in English;
- Daily activities include development, application maintenance, monitoring alerts, and investigating escalations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in a developer position;
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle process;
- Excellent programming skills;
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
- Great sense of teamwork.
.NET Developer Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with C# and.Net applications;
- Deep knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF);
- Experience using the MVVM design pattern;
- Strong binding skills;
- Strong with MySQL;
- Experience with User Controls, Resource Dictionaries, and Styling;
- Experience working with hardware;
- Experience with XML files storage;
- Experience with REST APIs;
- Experience with Unit Testing;
- Experience using Git.
