About the Position

Join us as a Service Designer - Senior Consultant to improve service delivery and design end-to-end service journeys.

Responsibilities

Connect people, processes, and technology to improve service delivery.
Identify and solve complex service problems.
Design end-to-end, front-stage, and back-stage service journeys.
Balance user needs, business goals, and technical considerations.
Lead projects and guide the direction of work.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders and other interested parties.
Support less experienced colleagues and share your extensive knowledge widely.

Requirements

Experience with the GDS / Gov Design Systems.
Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Skill in conveying complex information to different audiences.
Experience in designing artefacts to evidence existing systems and experiences.
Experience in designing and facilitating user research, workshops, and co-design sessions.
Experience in designing accessible and inclusive end-to-end services.
Ability to analyze the impact and integration of all aspects of a service in the context of a larger service ecosystem.
Experience working across multiple work streams.
Experience in leading discussions with product owners to plan and produce roadmaps.
Experience in planning and executing service design practices to different timescales.
Consideration of future business needs and wider client strategies.
Designing to government service standards.
Working in agile delivery teams.

We Offer

Competitive salary: £64,001 - £70,000 per annum.
A package including a 7% employer pension contribution, share options, and a discretionary bonus.

Where You’ll Work

This role requires regular on-site attendance at our HQ, hub offices, and client sites, as well as the ability to work from home. Travel to offices and client sites across the UK is essential.
