Protect what matters.

Primion Technology is a global solution provider and market leader for Converged Security Solutions and Workforce Management. With more than 30 years of experience, we serve around 5,000 satisfied customers worldwide who trust our certified solutions daily. From consulting to planning, development, installation, maintenance, and support, a team of over 470 dedicated experts works passionately to meet the highest quality standards.

As a Service Technician (m/w/d) at Primion, you will install modern, integrated security and time tracking systems and bring them to life digitally. From hardware assembly, configuration, and network connection, you will accompany the project until successful commissioning. This combines the best of both worlds: practical technical work and sophisticated system configuration.

You will also enjoy extensive service freedoms: Start directly from home, use your company car privately, refuel with the company card across Europe, and get paid for every minute on the road. With our flexible working hours, you can work whenever it makes sense.

Sound good? Then become part of our team and apply today for the region around Stuttgart or Karlsruhe, based on 40 hours/week as a Service Technician (m/w/d) – Converged Security and Workforce Management!

Your Tasks

  • On-site inspection of already installed Primion hardware (e.g., time tracking terminals, ID readers, and digital locks) at our customers for function, quality, and correct installation.
  • Identify and resolve installation errors and ensure all components work together optimally.
  • Configure the functionality of hardware components digitally on your laptop.
  • Independently commission access control, time tracking, and security systems after successful testing.
  • Install hardware components yourself and integrate them into the existing IT and network infrastructure.
  • Conduct acceptance tests and accompany the handover of systems to the customer.
  • Take on a coordinating role on the construction site and coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and the customer.
  • Create meticulous technical documentation of the installed systems – also flexibly from home.
  • Analyze disturbances and replace defective hardware components if necessary.
  • Occasionally visit our branch for project coordination and team meetings.

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as an Electronics Technician (m/w/d) specializing in Information and Telecommunications Technology or IT Systems Electronics (m/w/d). A further education as a state-certified technician (m/w/d) or master (m/w/d) is desirable.
  • Hardware and software knowledge in the network area and general digital competence.
  • Fluent German and good English skills in speech and writing.
  • Class B or 3 driver's license.
  • Flexible willingness to travel in the field.
  • Independent, conscientious work approach.
  • Results-oriented and good problem-solving skills.
  • Binding demeanor and good communication skills in customer contact.
