About the Position

Shipping Lead (2nd Shift)

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Lead for the 2nd Shift. This role is pivotal in coordinating daily shipping operations to ensure customer orders are accurately packed, processed, and shipped on time. The Shipping Team Leader works closely with various departments to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and support customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and Leadership:

  • Coordinate daily receiving, packing, staging, and shipping activities.
  • Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and training to shipping team members.
  • Adjust work assignments and staffing based on operational needs.

• Quality and Compliance:

  • Verify product identification, quantities, and accuracy of received valves.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in parts.
  • Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment.

• Documentation and Audits:

  • Prepare and verify bills of lading, advance ship notices, and shipping letter of instruction requests.
  • Audit shipments and verify order accuracy and shipping documentation.

• Collaboration and Support:

  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Accounting, Purchasing, Assembly, and other departments.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, and safety, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with small parcel and freight shipping preferred.

• Technical Skills:

  • Experience using RF scanners and SAP or other ERP systems required.
  • TWI Trainer qualification required.
  • Q-Pulse knowledge required.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to coordinate workflow and collaborate effectively across departments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push carts carrying heavy loads.

Work Environment

• Primarily performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Seasonal temperature variations and moderate to high noise levels.
• Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn.

We Offer

• Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 USD per hour, plus an additional $2 shift premium when start time is 2:00pm or later.
