Shopify Engineer（Shopify エンジニア）

About the Position

We are seeking a Shopify Engineer to join our Marketing Solutions team, focusing on building, operating, and improving EC stores using Shopify and data technology. Our brand commerce business is rapidly growing, and we are expanding global beauty care and home appliance brands across Japan and Asia. As our business expands, the need for advanced engineering and data utilization to accelerate growth has increased. We are now recruiting a "Shopify Engineer" to be at the core of our business, maximizing EC sales and experience through Shopify and data technology.

Responsibilities

• Shopify Store Development and Management

  • Overall store construction and management using Shopify
  • Theme editing and minor customization of Liquid
  • App selection, implementation, and configuration management
  • Product, content, and page updates and management

• Measurement and Tag Setup

  • Design and implementation of the data layer
  • Advanced event tracking design using Shopify Pixel, GTM, and GA4
  • Implementation of server-side tagging

• Site Improvement

  • Implementation of UI/UX improvements, LPO, and CRO measures
  • Coordination and requirement sharing with system vendors and internal stakeholders

• Languages: JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React
• Shopify: Liquid, Shopify CLI, Shopify Pixel, Custom Apps
• Infrastructure/Cloud: AWS, GCP, Docker, Heroku, Lambda, Firebase
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Measurement and Analysis: GTM, GA4, Google Looker Studio
• Infrastructure Basics: DNS, CDN

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements

• Experience in building and managing stores with Shopify
• Basic management experience with theme editing and app implementation
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience with tag installation and measurement settings using GTM and GA4
• Experience coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience with setting up ad measurement using Shopify Pixel
• Experience with report creation using Google Looker Studio
• Experience with ad settings for Meta/Google
• Experience with UI/UX improvement, LPO, and CRO implementation
• Experience with minor customization of Liquid
