About the Position
Kozak Group is a service-based IT company with over 9 years of experience, headquartered in Kyiv, with offices in Poland and Estonia. We specialize in creating complex software solutions, offering full-cycle development services tailored to our clients’ needs. Our team consists of over 50 skilled developers.
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Shopify Full-stack Developer to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine, or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Direct development of solutions (hands-on development).
- Determination of technical standards, methodologies, and selection of the technology stack.
- Designing the architecture of Shopify solutions (themes/apps).
- Forming accurate estimates: decomposing tasks, considering risks and assumptions.
- Technical expertise and participation in pre-sales processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of general experience in web development.
- 5+ years of commercial experience working with the Shopify platform.
- Use of AI tools throughout the development cycle.
- Senior level with a strong practical background.
- Experience in creating technical estimates, project decomposition, and risk management.
- Experience in making architectural decisions and willingness to take responsibility for them.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Understanding of backend architecture (Node.js, API, integrations).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD process debugging.
- Upper-Intermediate+ level of English.
Nice to Have
- Publication of applications in the Shopify App Store.
- Experience working with Headless Shopify (React / Next.js).
- Expertise in B2B e-commerce solutions.
- Practical experience working with POS systems.
- Experience implementing and conducting A/B testing.
