What we are looking for:

We currently have an opening for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Cloud Operations Engineer (AWS) who wants to join GFT to collaborate on a highly relevant international project.

We are looking for a proactive, problem-solving, and operations-oriented person with experience in cloud environments and production support, who wants to develop in a dynamic and multicultural environment. The selected person will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and proper functioning of services, actively participating in incident resolution, system monitoring, and operation of platforms based on AWS and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Although they will depend on your profile and the experience you bring, in general, the main functions you would carry out with us would be:

• Manage and resolve production incidents reported through ServiceNow, ensuring efficient resolution within established service levels.
• Monitor the status and performance of applications and infrastructures using Dynatrace or similar tools.
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement permanent solutions.
• Execute operational tasks and basic actions on Kubernetes environments to ensure the continuity of services.
• Support critical applications and infrastructures in cloud environments.
• Participate in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of containerized applications.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring mechanisms to improve system observability.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization through scripting and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in functions related to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Operations, production support, or platform administration.
• Solid experience in incident management and resolution using ServiceNow.
• Experience working with monitoring and observability tools, especially Dynatrace or similar.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for executing operational tasks and supporting containerized environments.
• Knowledge of Linux systems and basic administration of environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing incidents in production environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
• High level of English (B2+ or higher), essential for working in an international environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, OpenShift).
