We are looking for a long-term employee or contractor who will support ongoing development efforts in the following project:

Development of FTTH Solutions

Our client, a leading European telecommunications company, is expanding its FTTH network across many regions. Such a major undertaking requires solutions that will help with planning, management, and maintenance. This is made possible with a customized deployment of Smallworld Network Inventory.

How You’ll Work

• Location: 100% remote or office in Katowice, Krakow, Poznan, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Zielona Gora
• Technology Stack: Smallworld Network Inventory
• Language: English for communication with team members, project documentation, and commit comments
• Hardware: Modern laptop
• Additional hardware for employees: External monitors, Jabra headset, keyboard, and mouse

Responsibilities

• Software development and 3rd level support according to client requirements (e.g., based on performance levels, tickets, or user stories) using agile project management methodologies (SAFe)
• Analyze requirements, create concepts, and discuss them with the client
• Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
• Design, implement, and execute development and integration tests
• Prepare documentation in English
• Technical knowledge transfer and communication within the project teams
• Regular participation in client meetings

Requirements

• Experience with Smallworld Network Inventory development
• Experience with Magik software development
• Knowledge of English language (level B1 or better)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge about FTTH
• Knowledge of Python programming language
• Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
