Social Care Worker - New Ross and Gorey

About the Position

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a Social Care Worker for a full-time position in New Ross and Gorey, County Wexford, Ireland. Our client provides a range of services to meet the needs of young people and their families, including residential and aftercare supports. A successful candidate will be working alongside a positive team and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential home. Working closely with the management team to ensure that the team are creating and maintaining a warm, accepting, and secure environment for the young people in residential care.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a positive team in a residential home setting.
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of a warm, accepting, and secure environment for young people in care.
• Collaborate with the management team to support the needs of young people and their families.

Requirements

• A full, clean driving license.
• Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in one of the following:
  • Social Care
  • Social Care Practice
  • Applied Social Studies
  • Social work
  • Psychology
  • Child & Adult Psychotherapy
  • Youth & Community Teaching
  • Nursing
  • Social Science
  • Counselling
  • Addiction Studies

Salary

• €38,000 - €43,000 per year
