About the Position
Social Media Intern
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We’re looking for passionate, creative, and proactive interns to join our team and support social media initiatives. If you love social media, enjoy coming up with creative ideas, and are eager to gain hands-on experience in social media planning, content creation, and campaign execution, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
- Support the team in brainstorming creative and trend-driven content ideas for monthly social media content calendars.
- Research and stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and viral conversations across Meta, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (XHS), Threads, and other relevant platforms.
- Assist in content planning, production coordination, and on-ground content shoots with talents and creators.
- Draft engaging social media captions and copywriting aligned with each brand's tone of voice (English, Malay, and/or Chinese is a plus).
- Assist in scheduling and publishing content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media performance and support the team in preparing monthly reports with key insights and recommendations.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for brands.
- Support day-to-day campaign execution and other social media initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Open to all students currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication/Advertising/Marketing.
- Willing to commit a minimum of 3 months.
- You should possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Passionate, agile, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Having a positive and “can do” attitude.
- A fun, easy-going, and creative individual.
