Responsibilities

As part of our Web Scraping team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of a fleet of several dozen crawlers enabling the automated collection of data on a large scale. In a context of technological transformation, you will actively participate in the migration of our historical ecosystem to a new platform developed in Python around the Scrapy framework.

Your tasks will include:

Developing, maintaining, and optimizing our crawlers.
Analyzing the evolutions of targeted websites and adapting our collection mechanisms.
Implementing solutions to bypass anti-bot protections and blocking mechanisms.
Participating in the design and evolution of our new aspiration engine.
Improving the performance, robustness, and quality of the code.
Documenting developments and sharing best practices within the team.
Contributing to the evolution of our architecture and development tools.

Requirements

Education: Graduate with a higher education degree in computer science.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in software development.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and modern development tools (Git, GitHub).
- Strong interest in backend development, automation, and data collection.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues.

Nice to Have:

Experience with the Scrapy framework.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XPath, JavaScript).
Knowledge of C# /.NET.
Experience in web scraping, crawling, or web automation.
