About the Position

Software Engineer, Applied AI/Product

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer, Applied AI/Product to join our innovative team at Indigo. Based in Toronto, Canada, this role is fully remote and offers a competitive salary range of $150K – $250K per year.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Work across the full stack: agent architectures, evaluations, data and context, and user interfaces.
• Build and ship new workflows that streamline case processes.
• Design evaluation frameworks to ensure the reliability of agent outputs.
• Improve data ingestion, indexing, and context assembly for agents.
• Develop new tools to enhance user interaction with the platform.
• Iterate on features based on user feedback and real-world usage.
• Establish patterns and tooling for AI-native development.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, AI/ML, and Software Engineering.
• Strong focus on correctness and reliability.
• Experience with frontier models and their evaluations.
• Ability to ship high-quality code quickly.
• End-to-end ownership of problems from logic to user interface.
• Commitment to craftsmanship and long-term vision.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Engineering, Product Management, and Cloud Infrastructure.
