Software Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As an Engineer (MTS2), you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development, validation, and support of cutting-edge on-prem technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, and manufacturing to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Exposure to software development lifecycle and software testing concepts
• GenAI & Applied ML
  • Good understanding of AI/ML and GenAI architecture and prompt engineering
  • Familiarity with using GenAI tools to assist with diagnostics, scripting, or day-to-day engineering tasks
• Networking
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • TCP/IP network stack
  • Computer networks
  • NFS, SMB, iSCSI, FC
• OS Fundamentals
  • Good understanding of OS fundamentals
  • Linux, Unix OS internals (Kernel & Networking)
  • FreeBSD and its architecture
  • OS booting process (Linux/Unix)
  • BIOS/UEFI, GRUB bootloaders
• Storage and Hardware Interface
  • Good understanding of storage and hardware interface concepts
  • NAS, SAN
  • NVMe technologies
  • PCIe, ethernet interfaces
  • RAID, SSDs, iSCSI & NVMe over Fabric
• Automation & Programming
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C & C++
  • Exposure to writing and maintaining automation scripts
