About the Position

Transform Transporeon's Logistics Platform as a Software Engineer (JavaScript, Node.js)!

Are you ready to innovate the future of global supply chains using cutting-edge technology and intentional AI tools? Trimble T&L is seeking a collaborative Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud applications within our Transporeon team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software applications using modern technologies and intentional AI coding tools.
• Collaborate closely in cross-functional teams with product managers and engineers to deliver features from concept to production.
• Drive platform stability, data security, and high performance by crafting comprehensive unit/integration tests and resolving technical bottlenecks.
• Take full ownership of implementation quality, system performance, documentation, and continuous process improvements.
• Support long-term platform health through in-house 3rd level support, technical issue debugging, and accurate effort estimations.

Requirements

• Solid professional background in software development utilizing JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong hands-on experience working with databases and modern container environments such as Postgres, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience or strong interest in leveraging AI tools for code generation and workflow optimization.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture definition, system optimization, and automated testing frameworks.
• Prior experience working within SaaS applications.
