About the Position
Software Engineer (m/w/d)
Webect digital group gmbh is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Stuttgart or remotely. This is a FULL_TIME position available ab sofort.
About the Role
At Webect IT Solutions, you will actively shape the digital transformation of medium-sized companies. As a Software Engineer, you will develop modern web and cloud solutions that create real value for our customers - from technical conception to productive operation.
You will work in a small, experienced team with flat hierarchies, direct customer contact, and real responsibility for your projects. We use TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern cloud infrastructure - and we are continuously evolving with the technologies.
Responsibilities
- Development of modern web and cloud applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Design and implementation of REST and GraphQL APIs with Express, Fastify, or similar frameworks
- Co-design of system architecture and technical concepts in agile projects
- Code reviews, pair programming, and active knowledge transfer within the team
- Integration of cloud services (Azure, AWS) and third-party systems
- Performance optimization and ensuring code quality through automated tests
- Close collaboration with customers and internal project managers from requirements gathering to go-live
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in web or cloud development
- Very good knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience with React (hooks, state management) and modern frontend toolchains
- Basic knowledge of backend development with Node.js
- Familiarity with REST APIs and basic database concepts (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with Git and common CI/CD workflows
- German language skills at B2 level for communication with customers
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or similar full-stack frameworks
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Shopware, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
