Software Engineer (PHP)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior PHP Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in microservices architecture to join our remote team.

Responsibilities

• Write high-performance, testable, and maintainable code to implement new functionality;
• Analyze and estimate implementation efforts for tasks;
• Contribute to monitoring and improving application stability and performance;
• Troubleshoot, analyze, provide workarounds and resolve various software problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years working with PHP (Symfony/Laravel) for server-side development;
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture in production environments;
• Solid understanding and practical application of design and architectural patterns (Clean/Onion/Hexagonal architecture, SOA, SOLID, KISS, DRY, YAGNI);
• Experience with multiple databases (RDBMS, NoSQL, SQL, Redis, etc.) and messaging services (NATS, etc.);
• Experience with microservices design and development;
• Experience with software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Golang;
• Experience with MongoDB;
• Grafana/Tempo/Loki/OTEL + Prometheus;
• High load systems.
