About the Position
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer specializing in astrodynamics for our client, an international technology company offering services, products, and solutions for various industries. This role is based in Warszawa, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing systems in the field of astrodynamics/space research systems
- Engineering activities related to the qualification of optical sensors and software validation
- Describing the orbits of satellite objects and space debris
- Maintaining and updating the catalog of objects
- Analyzing data
Requirements
- Higher education in Physics, Astronomy, or related fields
- Interest in astronomical space topics
- Advanced knowledge of English for fluent communication in speech and writing
- Proficiency in Java and C++
Nice to Have
- Experience in astronomy and collaboration with the European Space Agency
