About the Position
Location: Kraków, PL
Type of contract: Employment contract
Salary range: 9 800 - 15 600 PLN gross per month (UoP)
Working place: Hybrid
You will be responsible for supporting critical EU and UK billing and payments services, ensuring their stability, performance, and continuous improvement while working closely with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative and international environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform production engineering work including support, maintenance, and service management of billing and payments services
- Maintain and manage distributed systems, servers on Linux and Windows, middleware such as Microsoft IIS, in-memory solutions such as Hazelcast, containers on Kubernetes, and cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines as part of DevOps activities
- Support application, business processes, and data intelligence operations, manage change activities including planning and coordination with stakeholders, and assess service impact
- Analyze data and build business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases
- Participate in on-call rotation one week per month covering afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends, respond to incidents outside working hours, and support one working weekend per month within standard hours
Requirements
- Master’s degree and solid experience in Production Support at L2 or L3 level
- Hands-on DevOps experience including configuration management and pipeline support
- Experience with MS SQL, Oracle DB, Windows Server configuration, Microsoft IIS, Hazelcast, Kubernetes, Docker, and container management in GCP
- Knowledge of Linux, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Splunk, virtualization, and containerization
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as GitHub, Confluence, and Jira
Nice to Have
- Understanding of payment domain such as ISO2022, XML, XSD, and JSON
- Experience in DevOps pipeline management using GitHub, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, or G3
- Ability to work in an international environment, manage complex workload, and demonstrate analytical thinking
- Java development experience
- Familiarity with complex technology architecture
