Software Engineering Manager

About the Position

PedidosYa, part of Delivery Hero, a global leader in delivery services with a presence in ~65 countries, is the leading technology company in delivery and quick-commerce in Latin America. We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead our Risk team in Fintech in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and execution of the roadmap ensuring high-quality and high-impact solutions.
• Foster the quality of the development cycle and deployment processes for continuous value delivery.
• Lead and manage the financial scoring team, providing a hands-on and technical vision while actively participating.
• Manage and optimize monitoring and post-production support strategies to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Data teams to drive the development of optimal technical solutions.
• Guide and support the professional development of the team, fostering technical alignment and removing impediments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams under agile methodologies.
• Experience in development, handling one of the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, Golang.
• Solid knowledge in distributed architectures, system integration, solution design, databases, and scalability.
• Experience in fintech, fraud, or risk is a significant plus.
