Job description
About the Position
We are seeking a Solution Architect (HealthTec) to design enterprise-grade solutions for audiology clinics and hearing care providers worldwide.
Responsibilities
Solution Shaping & Business Partnership
- Act as the architectural counterpart to Product Management, translating business goals, market needs, and customer workflows into practical solution options with clear trade-offs around cost, time, risk, and long-term sustainability.
- Own the end-to-end solution design for significant initiatives, ensuring that the architecture goes beyond individual components and delivers tangible value to customers and their day-to-day operations.
- Challenge and refine requirements by understanding the underlying business problem before defining the technical solution.
- Present solution options, recommendations, and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including commercial leadership, customer executives, and clinical teams.
- Create clear and actionable solution artefacts, including solution overviews, capability maps, integration blueprints, and effort and impact assessments.
- Partner closely with Delivery teams on sequencing and phasing to ensure that architectural decisions support a realistic and achievable product roadmap.
- Develop a strong understanding of the audiology and hearing care domain, including clinical and operational workflows, to contribute as a credible solution partner beyond the technology itself.
Customer & Pre-Sales Engagement
- Lead technical and solution workshops with customers and partners, covering discovery, requirements analysis, integration approaches, technical feasibility, and solution design.
- Take an active role in pre-sales activities, including technical scoping, solution proposals, RFP and tender responses, early-stage solution shaping, and estimation.
- Contribute to enterprise and public-sector procurement processes, including complex opportunities with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to key customers, supporting them through complex technical discussions, escalations, distributed-system challenges, and integration issues.
- Capture and communicate customer and market insights to help influence platform strategy and product roadmap decisions.
Domain & System Architecture
- Act as the technical consultant for assigned domains, ensuring architectural integrity, clear ownership, and consistent domain boundaries across the platform.
- Shape domain models and identify bounded contexts, aggregates, and integration points using Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Define APIs, event contracts, and integration patterns across microservices and cross-domain workflows.
- Assess epics and initiatives from an architectural perspective, evaluating technical feasibility, complexity, dependencies, and appropriate service ownership.
- Support engineering teams with high-level system design, technology selection, architectural patterns, and technical decision-making.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, and platform-wide architectural initiatives.
- Coach and guide engineering teams on DDD, Clean Architecture, architectural patterns, and best engineering practices.
- Maintain and continuously improve architecture documentation, including system diagrams, technical specifications, interface documentation, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in architecture or solution-architecture roles within enterprise SaaS.
- Proven track record turning ambiguous business needs into implementable solution designs.
- Experience working alongside Product, Sales or Customer Success as the technical owner of a solution.
- Experience designing integration architectures: message-bus and event-streaming platforms, REST APIs, webhooks.
- Experience comparable enterprise system landscapes.
- Practical knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture.
- Solid understanding of security and compliance for regulated data (GDPR; HIPAA is a plus).
- Strong background in Azure cloud services.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and diagrams (C4 or similar).
- Strong communication skills: able to articulate architectural decisions to leadership, engineers, and customers, and to adjust the level of abstraction to the audience.
- Confident and credible in customer-facing and commercial settings, including pre-sales.
- Fluent English proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing or evolving multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Experience integrating with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, HL7, FHIR).
- Exposure to healthcare, clinical, or other regulated business domains; hospital or public-sector customers a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based architectures (semantic search, intelligent document processing, workflow automation).
- Azure Cloud certifications.
- .NET and React familiarity.
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Full-time employment
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like.NET, React, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps
- Collaborative and innovative work environment
