About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you will be the key owner of our SRE, observability, and monitoring strategy. You’ll work closely with engineers and internal customer teams to automate operations, improve reliability, and get maximum value from modern observability tools – including leveraging AI and AI agents. This role focuses on architectural decisions, designing integrations, and ensuring best practices.

Responsibilities

Defining the strategic vision for site reliability engineering, observability, and platform engineering and planning tactical steps for implementation
Supporting, advising, and coaching engineers in the teams
Scouting and analyzing new observability features – matching them to business needs
Defining standards/best practices for automated service operations, observability framework including alerting, SLOs, and distributed tracing across digital products
Advising internal customers about the value of Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, and Monitoring
Consulting internal customer teams on how to automate their service operations and leverage observability tools effectively
Leveraging AI and AI agents to modernize the service

Requirements

Fluency in English
Ability to lead and mentor engineers, ensuring effective implementations
Good understanding of site reliability engineering (SRE), platform engineering, and observability architectures
Multi-year experience working as a Solution Architect in cloud-based environments
Strong strategic thinking and vision-setting & excellent stakeholder communication and coaching abilities

Nice to Have

German language proficiency
Expertise in observability tools (architecture, governance, integrations, APM, security best practices) and automating service operations
Knowledge of distributed tracing, metrics, and telemetry collection
Experience negotiating with vendors and external service providers
