Responsibilities

Corporate Communications

• Support corporate communications teams in the design and production of content, including but not limited to social media posts, audio and video content, infographics, and blog posts
• Assist in the planning and execution of communications activities, such as webinars, workshops, and panel discussions
• Write and develop media materials, including press releases, media advisories, public interest messages, and blog posts

Project Communications

• Ensure projects adhere to Alinea's photography and branding guidelines as established by the headquarters in Canada
• Support activities aimed at increasing project awareness and visibility
• Assist the team in general communication activities, including project-organized events
• Collect, write, and publish articles and publications about project activities on Alinea's social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook)
• Write and review content for project websites, including testimonials and updates on initiatives in intervention countries
• Support the team in collecting and managing communication data for project reporting and closure activities
• Train and mentor local communications staff to maintain Alinea's brand image and reputation
• Any other related project tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in communications
• Proficiency in both English and French, spoken and written, and the ability to use them in a communications context

Nice to Have

• Skills in creating digital graphic content for websites and social media
• Experience with WordPress
• Experience in digital photo and video editing
• Knowledge of international political and social issues
