Speech and Language Therapist

About the Position

We are seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in West London, supporting students aged 11–19 with speech, language, and communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of secondary-aged students with speech and language needs
• Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy and support plans
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide strategies to support communication and classroom participation
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Experience working within speech and language therapy, ideally in educational settings
• Knowledge of adolescent speech, language, and communication needs
• Ability to work independently within a school environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
