About the Position

We are seeking a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our specialist school in Tadworth, supporting children and young people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

Manage a paediatric caseload of children and young people with ASD
Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Support students with social communication and behavioural regulation
Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
Contribute to EHCPs and educational outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical records and reports

Requirements

HCPC registration
Experience working within paediatric speech and language therapy
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and communication needs
Ability to work independently within educational settings
Strong communication and organizational skills

Salary

£40,000 per year
