About the Position

SQLServer Database Administrator

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work Model: Hybrid

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Ensure high availability and performance of database systems.
Implement and manage Always-On Availability Groups and FCI operations.
Provide production support and incident management.
Tune performance and analyze execution plans.
Lead incident resolution and maintain audit-quality documentation.

Requirements

University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5-10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
Deep expertise in Azure platform (Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Monitor, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Alerts).
Strong T-SQL and PowerShell scripting skills.
Understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL.
Fluency in English (C1 Level).
Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Jira and DBeaver.
Azure Database Administrator Certification and Microsoft SQL Server Certifications are a plus.
