You’ll join a team working on a platform used by professionals in the global financial industry. The product provides real-time market data, financial analytics, and mission-critical information that helps financial institutions make decisions every day. It processes large volumes of data and supports systems where performance, scalability, and reliability are essential. This is an opportunity to work on technology behind a platform trusted by leading financial organizations worldwide, solving complex engineering challenges rather than building typical business applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, high-load features end to end - from micro-frontend modules in React to backend microservices in Node.js running on AWS.
• Build and maintain services within a micro-frontend and microservice architecture.
• Work with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Cover functionality with automated tests.
• Contribute to infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Requirements

Must have:

• Strong hands-on experience with micro-frontend and microservice architectures.
• Frontend: React.
• Backend: Node.js.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB.
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, ALB, etc.).
• Testing: Jest, Playwright.
• DevOps: Terraform, GitLab CI/CD.
• Availability to overlap with the full ET business day.

Nice to have:

• Background in fintech, market data, or financial analytics platforms.
• Experience with high-load, real-time data processing systems.
• Observability and performance profiling in distributed systems.
