About the Position
We're partnering with a leading consulting and transformation environment to appoint an experienced Senior Functional Consultant with deep expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and the Power Platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join major enterprise transformation programs, working directly with stakeholders to deliver scalable customer-focused solutions from discovery through to deployment and hypercare.
Responsibilities
- Lead business discovery workshops, fit-gap analysis, and requirements gathering sessions.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and process design activities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
- Produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs), user stories, process maps, and solution specifications.
- Drive solution design workshops and collaborate with architects and development teams.
- Support Agile delivery including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritisation.
- Lead testing activities including SIT, UAT, defect triage, and business validation.
- Support deployment, go-live, training, knowledge transfer, and hypercare activities.
- Act as the key functional advisor to business stakeholders and project leadership teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
- Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 CE implementations.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience producing:
- Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
- User Stories
- Process Maps
- Solution Specifications
- Business Requirements Documentation
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
- Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, or other regulated industry experience.
- Customer onboarding, servicing, complaints management, and case management knowledge.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform certifications.
- Exposure to Dataverse, Azure Integration Services, APIs, Azure DevOps, JavaScript customisations, and broader Microsoft technologies.
