Sr. Specialist Special Projects & Performance

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Sr. Specialist Special Projects & Performance to join our team. This role is pivotal in analyzing data, driving business performance, and leading AI efforts across all performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Reporting Business Performance:

  • Analyze Talabat’s performance metrics, identifying key trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive and insightful reports for senior management.
  • Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner, translating complex data into understandable recommendations for decision-makers.

• Conducting Analytical Deep Dives:

  • Perform detailed analyses of different Talabat markets, focusing on identifying turnaround opportunities, growth, and profitability areas.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand and address cross-functional issues impacting business performance.
  • Develop and recommend strategies based on analysis to improve overall performance and achieve business objectives.

• Driving AI Efforts:

  • Lead AI efforts across all performance teams to identify new use cases to enhance productivity.

• PnL Management:

  • Collaborate with local teams to develop Talabat’s yearly budget, setting growth and profitability goals.
  • Ensure that budgets are adhered to consistently across the organization and proactively identify and pursue opportunities to exceed financial targets and enhance overall profitability.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with robust problem-solving skills and a focus on data-driven decisions.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, explore, and drive creative solutions.
  • Effective in working with teams across different functions to achieve common goals.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial modeling and PnL analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Looker, and Tableau.
